                                Contemporary American Post-Impressionist Artist/Painter

Known for her incredibly strong color and composition, Williams

has been creating charming interiors, landscapes and fine

portraits for the past thirty-five years. Alice's style is reminiscent

of the Impressionists, yet uniquely her own with a modern day

appeal. Her paintings have a striking immediacy as she brings to

the viewer her own world of cozy interiors and cottage garden

scenes, many of which are painted on location right in her own

home. Her story is a never-ending fascination with light. It is not

surprising that she is represented in some of the finest private

and several corporate collections in the United States.

Quote from gallery owner Eileen Corse

"Alice Williams has had a huge impact on art in the Southeast over the past 30

years.   Clients and collectors from all over are drawn to Williams' works time

and time again.  It's hard to resist the flicks of color and the playful movement

that draws you in and keeps you there.   Alice doesn't shy away from color.  In

fact,I can't think of anyone but Alice who can get away with painting purple

horses or elephants.   It's not just the color that collectors and clients find

irresistible.  It's more than that.  It's the subject matter, composition, and

execution of the art that people clamber over.   Alice's work is so very unique

and uplifting.  I am proud and privileged to represent her here in

         Jacksonville,Fl.

As an artist myself and a gallery owner, I can honestly say that there are very

few artists who present themselves as professionally as Alice does.  Alice

understands business and goes the extra mile to make sure that her clients are

happy, that her gallery representatives are happy, and that her product is

presented in the best possible way.

It is a pleasure working with Alice Williams.  I not only consider her one of my

gallery artists, but also consider her one of my friends".
